Preschool Program

All Children develop at different rates.  If you are concerned about your child's development, we can help answer your questions.

What do we evaluate?

Speech and Language Skills, Fine and Gross Motor Skills (Muscle movements), Self Help Skills (feeding...), Social-emotional skills and Cognitive Skills (learning...)

What services are available?

Classroom Instruction, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Speech Therapy, Nursing Services, Transportation, and Nutrition.

Who can make referrals?

Parents, Physician or Other Health Care Providers, CHild Care Providers, Family Members and Friends

When should I make a referral?

If the child has a diagnosis of Prematurity, Failure to Thrive, Seizure Disorder, Vision or Hearing Impaired, Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, or Other Diagnosis, or anytime there is a concern about a child's development.

Home and Community Based Medicaid Waiver Program

Designed to provide Medicaid recipients an alternative to institutionalization or placement in an Intermediate Care facilitity.  Certain limitations of Medicaid are "waived" so that individuals who are developmentally disabled can live in the community as independently as possible.

What services are available?

Case Management, Waiver Coordination, Integrated Supports (Day Habilitation, Supportive Living, Alternative Living), Adaptive Equipment and Physical Adaptations Consultation, community experiences and non-medical transportation.

Learning to play baseball

Outreach Program

Outreach services are designed to help children learn and grow through a partnership between families, professionals, and the community.

Your child may be able to receive therapy at home or while attending a regular daycare.

A child may qualify for early intervention services if they are less than three (3) years of age, and have a 25% delay in any one of the developmental areas.

Services Available
Evaluations, Developmental Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Speech-Language Therapy and Adapative Equipment

Adult Program

Focus on independent living and work skills for clients with developmental disabilities.  Work contracts with local factories and a fully operational greenhouse to provide job training.  Receive monthly paychecks for production work.

Other Activities

Shopping in Community, Special Friday Events, Arts & Crafts, Reading Instruction, Development of Leisure Skills, Swimming, Participation in Special Olympics, Computer Training, Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapy are available.
